Lane Architecture served as a consultant to CMS Group, providing owner’s representative services to the Club regarding the design of their new $19M clubhouse. This project was completed in the spring of 2021.
Timuquana Country Club
Clubhouse Renovation - Jacksonville, Florida
The original clubhouse was built more than half a century ago and expanded/renovated numerous times since then. The aging ballrooms and kitchen were demolished and new ballrooms built with accompanying commercial kitchen for a total new area of approximately 11,500 sf. The design is a classic, Georgian theme. Additionally, 11,000 sf of the existing building was renovated and a pool house was added as well.
Jacksonville Golf & Country Club
Initial Clubhouse Design & Subsequent Renovations - Jacksonville, Florida
This is an elegant clubhouse with a strong, low country theme and 24,000 square feet. Mr. Lane was involved in the initial design in 1988 and subsequent renovations through this date. Conceptual design for their expanded fitness fitness center, pro shop, and aquatics facilities with an accompanying construction budget was recently completed.
Florida Yacht Club
New Fleet Center & Conceptual Planning for Amenity Center - Jacksonville, Florida
Construction of the new Fleet Center was completed in 2015. Lane Architecture also completed conceptual design for a two story, 10,000 sf amenity center with casual dining and fitness center
Renaissance Club at Archerfield
Conceptual Planning - Scotland, U.K.
Mr. Lane provided conceptual planning services and assisted the local architect of record in Edinburgh, Scotland. The design included two stories with 23,000 sf.

New Clubhouse - Fernandina Beach, Florida
This was a new clubhouse for a daily fee course with public dining, locker rooms and pro shop on the upper floor. Cartbarn and utilities were located below. This plan is very compact and each level has 5,000 sf.

This clubhouse has approximately 18,000 sf with public areas on the main level and cartbarn below. A separate sports complex includes a Fitness Center, and amenity and locker room facilities serving the pool and tennis courts

George T. Ort Clubhouse*
New Clubhouse - Albany, Georgia
A new 15,000 square foot clubhouse with banquet area and cartbarn in the lower level. This project was joint ventured with local a architect in Albany. Mr. Lane also provided interior design services.
Royal Oak Clubhouse*
New Clubhouse - Cincinnati, Ohio
New clubhouse was designed to be built adjacent to the existing clubhouse. After completion, the existing clubhouse was demolished. The existing building was so old and poorly designed that renovation was not an option. The new facility has 16,800 sf.
Pine lakes clubhouse
Renovation - Palm Coast, Florida
This clubhouse was originally built in 1980 and has 18,900 sf. It included an exterior patio and new covered drop off. All the public spaces were updated and numerous circulation deficiencies and mold problems were corrected.
Prestwick clubhouse*

This is a small, private club, very compact, but with an efficient plan and high quality finishes.

Renovation - Ormond Beach, Florida
We designed renovations to their existing dining room in order to accommodate large functions. There were also many problems regarding accessibility for the elderly which were resolved with the new plan.
tara golf & country club*
Renovation - Bradenton, Florida
This private clubhouse was designed by others in the mid 1980’s and had many problems with the plan. Once the members bought the facility from the developer, modifications were made which created a new nineteenth-hole, private card rooms, administrative suite and an upgraded dining room.
lake region yacht & country club*
Renovation - Winter Haven, Florida
This was a two story, private facility built in the early 1960’s with very low ceilings and no elevators. The expansion provided enhanced member dining and banquet facilities.

New Clubhouse - Frederick, Maryland
This was a high-end daily fee clubhouse with two stories and 10,000 sf with a cartbarn on the lower level. Many traditional details from this historic area were recreated to ensure the clubhouse would fit this community

New Clubhouse - Bradenton, Florida
This new, two story clubhouse is special in that the snack bar was designed for golfers to drive under a patio and pick up their food at the turn. It has a unique “Florida Cracker” theme.
magnolia point clubhouse
Renovation - Green Cove Springs, Florida
The nineteenth hole, pro shop and formal dining rooms lacked the kind of quality expected for a private clubhouse experience. The primary functions are now centralized around the existing kitchen and new finishes installed.
