Lane Architecture is a full service architectural firm with a passion for high quality design.  We provide services for clubhouse, hospitality, commercial, educational and residential projects. Our scope includes architecture, space planning, master planning, and interior design.

Jeffrey M. Lane, AIA

President

Jeff Holds a professional degree in architecture from The University of Kentucky. In 2001 Jeff took this knowledge and started his own to firm, Lane Architecture. Over the years he has had the pleasure of working on a wide variety of projects, from commercial office buildings, to higher educational work, to residential design, but his passion has always been with clubhouse and hospitality architecture and design.

Jeff has served on the board of Pine Castle and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Jacksonville, he also participates in the Lunch Buddies program at West Riverside Elementary.

When he’s not in the office, Jeff enjoys building furniture in his carpentry workshop as well as spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Sumner Coddington

NCIDQ, LEED AP BD+C

Director of Interior Design

Sumner began her career by interning at architecture and interior design firms in Jacksonville and Tallahassee before graduating from Florida State University with her degree in interior design in 2008.  She then worked as a lighting rep, and a furniture rep before joining the Lane Architecture team in 2013. 

Since then, she has had the pleasure of working on a broad range of projects including hospitality, clubhouse design, commercial office buildings and high end residential. 

Sumner is a founding board member of the Women In Architecture (WIA) Committee of AIA Jacksonville.

In her free time, Sumner enjoys refinishing antique furniture and spending time at the beach with her husband and daughter.

 
 
 
 

Michael blake, aia

senior associate

michael graduated from louisiana tech university in 2003 with his degree in architecture. he spent some time working for general contractors in north carolina and louisana, where he gained experiance in all things construction - everything from estimating to framing.

in 2006 he moved to jacksonville, and in 2019 he joined the lane architecture team. his project experiance includes historic restoration, higher education, medical, industrial, and commercial work.

michael is a member of the aia, the jacksonville historical society, and his church.

michael enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children.
